Great book! I highly recommend it. There is drama, mystery, betrayal, and the author is very descriptive in her writing. I enjoyed how she “roots” and “connects” the characters. This is #2 in a trilogy - the first one being “The Heart of a Lynx” (also a great read). Being Trisha St. Andrews has roots in Minnesota, we were so privileged to have her speak to our book club recently, and every single attendee said we could have talked for hours. Fascinating book and an amazing and interesting author. We cannot wait to read #3 the final installment.Product details

A good book with good descriptions
Really enjoyed it! Needed a book to read on vacation and this was exactly what I wanted.
I’m so glad I discovered this author. Every page was gripping and some of the characters very relatable. Great read and now on to The Soul of an Owl.
Captivating read. Looking forward to the final wild ending. Hurry, hurry! An all consuming story. Highly recommended reading for those who love a twisted tale.
What a great writer, Trisha is! She really knows how to use words to flow into the next word. I was captured from the beginning. She's poetic in a sense but realistic and historical info was fun to read because I've been to all those places in Italy.
The second book in this dynamic series will have you riveted. The characters are complex and weave a story line that is not to be missed. St Andrews' words paint a vibrant backdrop that brings the story to life with quotes to get you thinking. This novel takes St Andrews' storytelling to a whole new level. St Andrews may be a new author, but keep your eye on her. Her work is unique and surprising.
Again, Trisha St. Andrews proved her phenomenal writing skills!!! So many of her descriptions were worth a second reading to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful pictures in my mind. I've never found anyone who has this dynamic ability to make words into such compelling beauty. Her characters are real, multi-dementional and most intriguing. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. This is a book you don't want to put down, and yet are disappointed when it is finished because you truly want more. I anticipate Book # 3 will be equally fabulous and hope it will be published soon! Keep writing Trisha St. Andrews!!!
